Darin + Mandy in Plantersville

Mandy and Darin got married on a beautiful day in Plantersville Texas at St Mary's Catholic Church. The church was built in 1917 and recently was restored. As they were cleaning the walls to repaint, they found original paintings that had been painted over through the years, which they kept. There were so many great details that I had a hard time narrowing down what to show. It is always great to go to different locations than the norm, so I was happy to shoot a few a long with Edward Charles.
The walk to the church. What a beautiful day!
Sepia is always classic looking.
Once again I had a hard time picking between two beautiful pictures in their own way. On the left side is a sepia picture with slight color. On the right side is a brilliant and vivid color picture. It's a hard decision! One last pep talk before Mandy went down the aisle by one of her brothers.
An unbelievable church! Just stunning!
These great cutouts were in the balcony railing.
I always like to see someone else's perspective where it be a photographer or videography.
The picture on the right side has to be one of my favorite of the day even though there are several close favorites.
I had a hard time choosing the color or black and white, so I am showing both. They both give a different mood than the other.
They had so many great extra party favors from the M&M's, Hersey bars and matches with their names on them. I love the detail shots. Every one's wedding is unique in its own way.
You can see it in Darin's eyes..... this is about to get messy!
The aftermath on Darin and the table.
I love this dad and daughter dance picture!
Mandy and Darin had 'The Posse' play the last half of the reception. It is always fun to have a band. Everyone enjoys them and I love taking pictures of them. The stage lights gave some great effects to these picture.
This little guy danced all night.
They left nice and comfy for the bird seed departure.
I loved this little house on the grounds of the church where the priest resides. LOVE the red door!!
